No ratings last 6m | [WTT] Turn Kingston 512's into 1GB
I have found out that my new Asus A8v board has problems with all 4 slots populated and pushes the memory speed back to 333 instead of running 400 MHZ, so I have 4 512 meg sticks of Kingston KVR400/512R that I really need to turn into 2 1 GB sticks, They do need to be matching sticks so i can run in dual channel.
Thought I would give here a shot first, if no one can help I am gonna sell 2 sticks at a time on e-bay.
