By testing at the NID you have shown that whatever the problem is, it exists on BST's side. Call the help desk and report your intermittent sync. There will be no charge to fix anything outside.
To your second question, it is possible although really unusual, that the tech could determine your line should have never qualified for DSL in the first place. I doubt they would disconnect your service if you agreed to live with the connection drops, but if you go calling every week for a tech visit and nothing can be done, eventually they may decide to disqualify you. |
