No $1300 laptop could even hope to play any game made in the last three years at 720p... or would even have a 720p capable display.

Half-Life 2? Or HL2: Episode 1?
The re-release that VALVe is doing for the Xbox 360 of HL2 will include HL2, both episodes, Team Fortress 2, portal, and the whole game will implement the additional updates to the source engine that will be integrated with Episode 2.
SO it will look better than the PC version of HL2.
