Hello everyone,Hope that you & loved ones had a good holiday,
SITUATION: {b]for last 8 yrs,I have paid for friends "L" dsl service,on my bill, NOW ATT-DSL say not allowed any longer"
WELL AFTER 8 LOYAL YEARS,(of $125.00 to $150.00 a month)AT&T/DSL policy will end up driving customers away, I 'am am calling & going to switch with someone one else,(1st choice is time warner "RR" service.
AT&T/DSL DUMBEST new policy is now in effect that say,that a customer cannot,nor is allowed to pay for another customers DSL service.
so [b]MY QUESTION(s) to YOU ATT,
1,,whats the difference WHERE the $$ comes from as long as your getting paid for the service??,
2, What about all those parents,(or customers) that are paying for their parens,son's & daughter DSL service while away from home?
I & OTHERS HAVE PAID FOR OTHERS SERVICE BILLS FOR A LONG TIME,& YOUR SAYING WE CAN NO LONGER pay for someones else's service well ATT,YOU HAVE LOST this customer and I'am sure you be seeing a lot of customers leaving you,
even IF Roadrunner is a higher cost AFTER 6 months,i would rather pay that, as long as i can pay for good FRIENDS DSL SERVICE)

| There is little about this that makes any sense.
First, $125-$150 a month for DSL service? There is just no way.
Second, AT&T doesn't care who pays the bill. You MAY be running into an issue where they won't let you combine your phone and his DSL bill on one bill any more. But quite honestly I don't know why they would have let you do that to begin with.
