The Portable format is optimized for on-the-go viewing using "PlayForSure" portable video players. If played on a PC, the image quality will not be as good as the higher resolution Standard format. They have locked themsleves out of the main portable market? why isn't the IPOD supported, daft decision.
Royal PITA to do anything other than have it on one PC, I'll stick to ripping it via DVD shrink to a backup copy or using a x264 or Xvid codec to get it smaller
I agree. This won't play on my Cowon A2 either. I doubt it'll play on anything.
