|  Cohen may be kicked upstairs despite the denials
There is ample precedent for the founding father of a company to be kicked upstairs as part of a funding deal to drastically expand the scope of a company. The investors want a seasoned pro used to dealing with a rapidly growing company. That is, one who is an experienced manager. Cohen could become Chairman and chief technologist(and the major stockholder) while a new guy takes on the CEO/President job to run the business(especially the finances) on a day to day basis.

| While not unusual you often get stuck with people like Eisner and be in the same situation Disney is in. Disney used to be a hallmark of American creativity. Now they have to pay another company to make movies for them and for everything else they just rehash the same old, same old.
Keeping a guy who understands the creativity that gives them a business in the first place can often be more powerful than a run-of-the-mill bean counter/manager.
