Encryption does not make what you are doing invisible from my understanding. All encryption does is by pass sniffers for certain types of packets (in order to by pass traffic shaping for example).

If you are connected to a tracker, even if you are using encyption, your IP address is still listed and thats what the MPAA/RIAA etc use to nab you.

Doesnt even safe peer not do much? I thought it was still quite possible to find info since IP info is passed along in the packets (maybe encryption could be more useful there but the IP is probably in the clear).
