Should be fine as long as you don't have them both on at the same time. I would use an outside DNS server so you would not have to change them later in the event that you need to start sharing your other Internet feed. Worst case you may need to reboot everything or wait till ARP caches up with the IP to MAC change. It's possible that ARP may not catch up and you need to reboot your key devices and some customers. Those icey climbs don't seem to make it worth while to me sometimes when the power is out. |
