Notching has been a key requirement of recent rulings from both the FCC and the European Union. The flexibility of the DS2 product, with its programmable spectrum mask and downstream notching capability has been tested by the British Telecommunications regulator (www.ofcom.com) and has been praised in a published Ofcom report as a " a significant step towards a more EMC friendly PLT solution."
