No Incoming packets

I am using the USRobotics 5461 router connected to a motorola cable modem. I am using the USR wireless PCI card to connect but have experienced low signal and poor connection speeds. Now the wireless utility no longer appears in my taskbar even after telling it to do so from the control panel. And my connection will only send data packets and will not recieve. I have installed the software twice, and reset the router each time. But this has happened every time i re-install, any ideas??

Re: No Incoming packets

If the utility does not appear you need to check the installation for the PCI card, it has nothing to do with the router.
Signal strength depends how far you are from the router and also antenna orientation. You can also try a different wireless channel, from the wireless page of the router you can change channel (example: from 11 chose 1 or 6).
