| Free Kayak - Local Pickup only!
I have a wooden/canvas Kayak (closely resembles this one: »www.folbot.com/greenland2.html ) but has blue canvas bottom and wood frame / oars.
My roommate bought it from a neighbor and when he moved out he couldn't take it with him so he told me to get what I could for it. I just want to make it go away.
I can try and take some pics tomorrow to post. If anyone is interested and can pick it up, it's all yours.

If so, I could float 'em both up north. |

| Kayak is gone. Apparently my wife made a deal with the crew who were removing my overgrown ficus tree this morning. They are coming back to take a full truckload of stuff we don't want (trash and all) for $100 and we're giving them the Kayak, a large outdoor heater, some bicycles, an excersize machine, and whatever else they want to keep from the stuff we're trying to get rid of.

2 edits | No, ficus trees are not thorny. Oak trees have thorny leaves, but /me thinks you are referring to bougenvilla?
My ficus tree was a female. Funny that it's the female ficus tree that drops it's balls all over the place. (I guess those are the seeds lol).
During the summer the balls dry out real fast and when you walk on them they make a popping sound, and turn into dust. Lots and Lots of dust. That I have to sweep up
I hate to have killed a tree, but as they say in Texas, it needed killin'

| reply to ghostpainter Sorry Ghost, I'm afraid my reply was a bit rude. I'm sure you know how to find out about ficus trees (or anything else) using search engines. I just didn't understand where you were coming from but obviously you wanted a personalized reply from FM.
BTW FM, I remember the days you modded here, and thanks for your service. You did a good job! I've modded myself, elsewhere, and I understand the strains and pressures of the (unpaid) job. You did good.
You DSLR mods don't get paid, do you? If so I'm jealous, but at least I got a fair amount of free hardware and software . . . |
