| Re: Pot meet kettle........ It is just cable wanting Verizon to get stuck in the morass of having to deal with every local community(one by one) in order to provide service. The cable companies had to do it, so they feel Verizon should too. But the fact that cable companies had to go thru that mess for over 30 years doesn't mean that is the way it should be going forward. Statewide franchises is the way to speed up new competitors entering the market. Cable companies just want to slow down their future competitors.
