[Skype] Skypecasts

Hello All,

Skype seems to be the popular topic here lately, it is Voice Over IP. I recently updated to the 3.0 Windows version on my laptop (Linux only on the desktop) and started playing with Skype. One thing I discovered that is very neat is "Skypecasts". In the "Live" tab on the 3.0 client you can join or create live voice chats. I've been moderating a voice chat each night for a couple of nights.

Last night I talked to (at the same time) a woman in Saudi Arabia, a man in Malaysia, a man in Scotland, a woman in South Africa. You get the point. It's like Free World Dialup when I used to (still do occasionally) answer the "welcome line" and get calls from all over. It's very clear and fun to do. Just wanted to share this with our members who may not have known about it. Maybe we could get together there. If it's moderated to remove the noisy people and people take turns, it is a great experience.

Scott
