A small fortune for a dual-tuner HD DVR? Do you realize how much the HD Tivo cost currently? They cost around $700-800 unless there happens to be a good deal online somehwere. The Comcast Dual-tuner HD DVR is (in my area) $5 more a month then a standard cable box......seems like a much better deal to me! If it breaks I can get a replacment the same day if needed at a service center for free.

Personally I think its a good deal, and don't really feel like I'm paying a small fortune for it

$16 for the box and then $12 for the "jack" and then add the $3 for the remote. you really think your getting a good deal ? I don't , I am waiting for cable card based converters that may support the VoD , not that I even use it.

THose rates are crazy. I am just glad I am not in your market. I am paying $5 over a regular box.
