You can get a Series 3 for about $650 from several on-line retailers. Dell had them for $600. If you have an older Tivo with Product Lifetime you have till 12/31 to transfer lifetime to the new device.

Here in Atlanta Comcast charges $1.50 for the second cable card. Not too bad.

Still more than I want to pay.

Woodbridge, VA		 I just picked up a series 3 from Dell Dell this week for $535 shipped after discounts. This will be my third series 3. I think I'll wait until next year to decide whether I get another one. If they enable multi room viewing the 3 will be fine.
