Dry DSL

AT&T's dry DSL is front page news today: »Getting Naked is Expensive in California . Is there any news on whether DSL Extreme will be able to offer dry DSL to customers in Verizon territory?

We can and do offer dry DSL in Verizon areas. Activating a dry dsl loop is a very lenghty process and can take 3-4 weeks.

The easiest way is to drop your phone line and keep your DSL with no downtime in Verizon areas. We do not charge an additional $5 per month like Verizon does since we do not get charged any extra(at least not for now).

Thanks, Ari! I'll try canceling the phone service and see if DSL stays connected.

Will report back. Hopefully not via cell phone.
