Not much I can add, except emphasise the "stronger eye glasses prescription" and be sure you squeeze the little clip on the side of the connector to release it.

Also, as PH said, I too have seen it sometimes necessary to un-plug, then plug back the main power, (110 volt) cord. I dunno why. Guess it needs to reset.
