over a barrel? It's circular finger pointing as far as I'm concerned: Content producers blame cost of content, provider of content blames content producers, repeat. They both love it and both work & lobby to keep it that way.
Someone w/sense says 'ala carte' or more packages (e.g. non-sports) to ease costs and round we go again (Not McCain, he's full of BS and only pays lip service to issues).
You won't see cost savings packages, or ala carte, because of the mass downgrading it would promote. Same thing with lower tier HSI incentives for folks who don't want to add $45 (or a new $60) to their monthly bill.
