 | reply to gsm8 The Linksys BEFCMU10v4 IMO is the best. It handles noise much better than any of the Motorola modems and has a better diagnostic page. |

| I wish you could find the SB5100 with retailers. Even Newegg discontinued them. They sell the SB5101. Looks like only auction sites are the last place to find them. -- Write me up a 125.......I Can't Drive 55 »redrocker.com/ »cabowabo.com/ |

 | reply to gsm8 i have the Motorola 5100 series. it might be the 5200. i would have to go look. i know i have had both versions of the modem and they work really well. im thinking i have the older one now.
i will get a linksys so i can drop the 5 bucks a month rent fee from Comcast next time i see the free with activation deal they (Linksys) runs from time to time. |

 | reply to gsm8 Also, it has a 110VAC input with an internal DC supply instead of an external 12VDC power supply. |

JohkalCool CatPremium,MVM join:2002-11-13 Happy Valley kudos:5 | I wonder how it handles heat with an internal. |
