[Verizon] Temporary disconnection question

How long will Verizon allow me to put a phone on suspended (vacation) service, and how much do they charge during this period?

I have heard a phone can be suspended for 3 months and it is a minimal charge of something like 9.95. Is that correct?

Re: [Verizon] Temporary disconnection question

$15 for 3 months. you can do vacation mode twice a year. must be at least 30 days between vacation modes. your contract is extended for the time you are on vacation mode.

There is also a weird thing you can do for up to 6 months, which is $10 a month, no separate flat fee. I think it's called a suspend or something. this also extends your contract.

It doesn't interest me who you know, or how you came to be here.

Is that $15 a month, or 15 for 3 months?

Thanks

Also, if there are 3 lines on a family plan, do I have to put all lines on vacation? I would guess so since I would not save much money putting only one line on vacation.
