Welcome to "Provider Poll" v. 2007!
If you use more than one mobile device please vote for the provider you use the most often even if it's a data only device like a Blackberry. I referenced last year's poll and combined Sprint and Nextel into a "Sprint/Nextel" entry. If I've missed your particular provider please vote other (either pre-paid or post-paid).
As always, the above list are providers in the United States and Canada, if you have service in another country with the same brand (T-Mobile UK for example), please vote "other."
This is the poll's fifth version with a new one posted every year.
Here's last year's: »[POLL] Who is Your Provider? 2006 |

Re: [POLL] 2007 Wireless Service Provider Still with Sprint and no complaints. I did change my plan though - Now I have the Sero plan with 500 minutes and the LG LX350 phone. |

So I vote for Nextel, and not Sprint/Nextel since I wouldn't want anything to do with Sprint's service. |

I'm still with NEXTEL, and the iDEN network is still delivering. I'm using the i880 now, its a great phone. -- "Don't steal. The government hates competition." |

Re: [POLL] 2007 Wireless Service Provider Verizon but I may switch to Sprint if they come out with a Treo 750v. Verizon's crippling of the phone so it can't be a modem pissed me off (wish I'd know before I got it last year). -- »www.fairtax.org |

QuipPremium join:2003-03-18 Riverside, CT kudos:1 | reply to BillRoland I know I would make a few Sprint or Nextel customers unhappy by merging the poll option to a "Sprint/Nextel" entry. Though they are operating two networks, Sprint is well along the way of integrating both brands. I compare it to the last merger, Cingular and AT&T Wireless, in which there were still two different GSM networks, we did combine them to keep our numbers accurate to which company was ultimately providing service. The industry numbers, at least in investment circles, considers all "iDEN" customers part of Sprint's customer base, so to accurately reflect Sprint's industry position I elected to combine them in our poll.
Keep in mind you've always been allowed to post in the Poll thread to clarify your choice or offer commentary on your provider.

Sprint already has more or less the same thing -- the 700wx. (The 750 is basically a GSM version of the 700w(x) with no antenna stub.)
If you really want a 750, Cingular (who my primary carrier is now...I dumped T-Mobile back in October, in no small part because they refuse to sell Treos anymore) should have it later this month.
