Verzion DSL and counterstrike problem

I just switched over from comcast to dsl. I never had this problem with cable. Now every time i play counterstrike 1.6 i get random flush enitity packets. It freezes for like a few seconds at a time. Can anyone help me with this problem?

Hi
Are you on fast path or interleaved?

You usually see the flush entity packets in CS when you are dropping packets. With your switch from Comcast to Verizon your packets are now being routed through different networks. A line quality test should confirm that you are in fact dropping packets. »/linequality

Hi
Since you are a gamer, I would check into whether you can switch to fast path. You will have a lower ping in the server and the packets are sent out in a different order. What are your transceiver stats like noise margins etc.?

Hi
You can find the transceiver stats here. Copy and post the stats on here.
»192.168.1.1/transtat.htm
When you look at the transceiver stats, it will show if you are interleaved or fast path. There are some faqs here about the differences between interleaved and fast path. If your numbers are good enough for fast path, I would request a change to that. Some one else here in the forum could give you a better explanation of the differences between interleaved and fast path.
Here are the faqs that could explain some stuff to you also.
Here is the FAQ you were looking for:
