| [billing] Strange pricing
My one-year, $14.95, 768/128 package is about to expire. Verizon tells me that I can renew it for $21.99/mo., but if I don't renew, it will automatically change to $17.99, month-by-month. I realize that the $17.99/mo. rate can change at any time, but still this seems a bit strange. Is Verizon trying to discourage people from renewing, or does this mean that they plan to hike up the month-by-month rate a lot in the near future? They are advertising an introductory rate of $19.99/mo. for a year. |

I'm skeptical at verizon's suggestion to you but if its true, the 17.99 will stay with you as long as you don't change the plan. |
