Funny, this didn't seem to stop Microsoft from releasing the Fall Update to the XBOX 360 which enabled countless features.
I'm not a console guy, so I may be mistaken, but don't you have to pay a subscription fee for xbox live to get those kind of updates?

Home		 No, because Xbox Live Silver is free for every console, and it allows you to download the updates.
