I am using MKT and I have an AP that can do dhcp. unfortunately, it seems that the cpe's cannot dhcp or relay, and I would like the end users equipment to lease an ip address directly from the AP. is it possible? how do I do that? |

| I would just set the CPE's up to bridge all traffic. If You do this?, it will just forward anything it gets and become an invisible layer 2 device. DHCP requests will go right thru. -- »www.wavecrazy.net Join WISPA today! »www.wispa.org/ |

| reply to sekba Tkx superdog for the answer. That is what I have been trying to do. on an MKT device do you just set the mode as bridge instead of station? will it still be able to connect to the AP? I tried to create a bridge ether-wlan but then I cannot connect to the AP, even if the client equipment registers. Can somebody give me a hint on how to handle this? |

| reply to sekba Are you using Mikrotik as a CPE? If so to have the CPE Bridge you need to setup WDS on the AP and CPEs. This is how I do all my MT deployments. Mikrotik will not bridge using just ether-wlan you will need WDS, -- CCNA, Comtrain Certified Tower Climber |
