it is not unlimited transfer and is not advertised as such.

When did Comcast ever offer "unlimited" bandwidth? They once offered "unlimited" connectivity; but that was back when DSL was so new that most people didn't have it, and dial connections were typically limited to 'X' hours per month for a flat fee, and then $Y per minute for time over the limit.
