Did anyone else notice if you update the webroot program your license expires this week? Any way to get a new key from msn?

Spy Sweeper prompts to register the program even though license is registered
Recently on March 28th, 2007, we implemented a change to our database which has triggered a registration prompt for many of our users. If you are seeing an alert that says the following: Action Required: You must register the software. Please follow the steps below to resolve this issue:
1. Click Register later
2. Restart your computer.
If the alert or message still persists after reboot, please do the following:
1. Open Spy Sweeper.
2. Click Home, in the top left of the screen.
3. Click Check for updates link at the bottom of that page.
4. Restart your computer
If you continue to receive an alert to register, please click here to submit a help ticket with our Support Team. An agent will assist you as quickly as possible.

I had the same problem. Call webroot direct @ 866 350 6087.They reconfirm the licence #. takes about 10 mins. |

Hi sashwa. I appreciate your help, but this problem doesn't affect the regular version of webroot spysweeper. MSN users can download a special version of webroot called "Spy Sweeper for MSN." It is different from the normal version in that the subscription should renew as long as one continues to pay for MSN Premium. The problem is that we don't get support from Webroot and MSN's support is flaky.
The strange thing is, on my other pc which i didn't upgrade the program, it still continues to download new definitions without expiring. On my primary pc that has the newest program downloaded, it expired yesterday. |
