Who knows maybe in 10 years people will need 100 Mbps. To be honest( and I'm a more speed the better guy ) who really needs 100 Mbps? Unless you're trying to download a bunch of blu-ray dvds. To stream something in 1080p would only take 16-20 Mbps. How many sites are going to do that?
No, nobody really needs the 100Mbps at the moment but we currently could use speeds around 20Mbps down and more upload.
