And the 256kbps, 1.5Mbps, & 3Mbps services are symmetrical?

Yep- sign for a 2 year contract, and you keep the promo price for "life". Without reading the contract details, I imagine you'd have to keep your POTS line too.

For VDSL the 256k is symmetrical, the 1.5 and 3M aren't; they're both 1M upstream.
