I agree. When I went from my 5mb/512kb dsl connection to my 1.544mb/1.544mb T1 I couldn't believe the difference. asynchronous connections should be a thing of the past!

clubs:		 The upload limit was killing me! As it turned out the T1 was just as fast as the DSL when browsing. The only time i really miss the dsl is when I'm using Bit Torrent. It was worth it.

My employer is paying $300/Mo. on a 5 year contract with QWEST.

What's the difference? I've seen ADSL referred to as both asynchronous and asymmetrical. Enlighten me!
