That I would imagine is the idea. Design something good for windows take away users from IE and Firefox and maybe convert them to Mac users
I'm guessing it's probably more along the lines of trying to get more sites to tolerate Safari so there's less problems with the iPhone.
Would also allow Windows-based iPhone app developers to easily test their stuff.

That doesn't make sense. The iPhone runs OSX, how would an app for it run on Windows?

To tolerate is easy use the web standards, not the MS web standards which give web programmers pains.

For reasons not only related to Safari, I hope to take a dip into the world of Mac's as soon as my laptop or desktop dies, whatever comes first.

Now, if you wanna see a REALLY cool trick ...

Reply to a message here at BBR; did you notice that you can resize the text box that I'm currently typing in? Check the bottom right corner of the text box .....
sweet! Safari 3 is blazing fast on both OSX and WinXP.
I can't wait to get home and try it out on the Mac .... so far so good on Wintendo.

Can't wait to get the better fonts, too ....

How does it compare to FF for windows? I use FF on both my Mac and PC, Safari was never compatible enough for me in the past
I'm trying the Mac beta and most of Safari's annoying javascript incompatibilities are gone.
