It was always 2 unless they upped it? Does anyone know if it was changed for sure?

I did a search for my neighborhood and it showed as 5Mbps UP as well.

Weird... I'd love it if this were true.

Cablevision is notorious for mistakes on their website, so obviously one is wrong.

I haven't seen any speed tests at 15/5 - which is why I would agree that this is a typo. But who knows - maybe they're going to up BOOST to 30/10...

Cablevision has to know that a good number of people that use Boost will step down to the regular tier if this is the case however I highly doubt it. We can't be that lucky..

And just in case this _is_ true, how will this affect their capping? Will it be as relaxed as BOOST currently is?

One can only hope. I'm currently on hold to speak with sales about upgrading my iO package, and will inquire, for whatever it's worth.

Alright, since I have not done it in 6 years or more, how do I get to the Modem info that tells you what the upstream is set to?

It has to either be a mistake (5mb up) or they need to change the rest of the site which references 2mb up (5mb for Boost) such as »www.optimum.com/online/why/faster.jsp or

haha that page is so wrong. it says upload 100 mb in 4 seconds yea right !!!!!! that is all wrong with the speeds and since nobody gets full speed except street spirit they are lying.

Im pretty sure thats supposed to be MINUTES on the bottom and not seconds.. Doesnt even make sense -- on the top part they show a 125MB download at 15Mbps as taking 1 minute, but a 100MB upload at 2Mbps takes 9 seconds? Huh?
