| [Help] Missing Prog Running or Open Folders When Minimized Taskb
How come my opened folders and running programs always dissapear on the task bar area?
that is if i open a program or folder instead of appearing
on the task bar area it just disappear into thin air
the only way to retrieve the program or folder is by
pressing ctrl-alt-del then bring the program to front
is there a way to make the task bar reappear?
I tried creating a new user name then delete the old one
but after a few days, the problem returns
is this a windows xp bug ?
or is it just me having this problem ?

maybe autohide is enabled

somehow the toolbar has been minimised, if you take your mouse to the bottom edge of the screen does the pointer change?

Yes, it stays there !! But autohide function is disabled
so you can only see the quick launch icons while all the minimized items were nowhere to be found
take note that the language bar toolbar was enabled on
shown on the task bar

auto-hide the taskbar was not enabled so the task bar is present there all the time, only the minimized items were
missing in the picture

What happens when you pull it up and make it wider? Try and make it like 4 columns tall.
That is an odd thing. I take it "EN" is a folder you have on the taskbar.

There is a safe mode way to try and figure what driver is doing it (like a nview from nvidia or something I guess), then the new account that didn't work for you, after that, looks like a repair install is all they suggest... |
