Comcast Central availability in Scientific Atlanta areas?

Just out of curiosity, are there any future plans to deploy Comcast Central to Scientific Atlanta boxes> It seems like a pretty cool feature, that might come in handy in certain situations (breaking news, severe weather) etc.

You guys have SA boxes in Brick? We have Moto boxes up in Iselin, and we have Comcast Central. I find its a waste.

Yeah Brick is a Scientific Atlanta system. I have a SA8300HD and a SA3250HD. As for it being a waste, I think it might come in handy for the aforementioned things like real breaking news (Not Paris) and severe weather things among others. It looks very similar to the Directv Mix channels.

Looking forward to the future of things.

I don't see why they wouldn't. SA Boxes are more than capeable to achive the simple Comcast Central trick. They are writing I-Guide A25 in OCAP and it's going to work on SA Boxes. Eventually you'll get the same old guide us Motorola folks get. Perhaps they'll be able to spruce it up a little with ocap.

I hope they NEVER get rid of the SARA guide if it means we have video SPAM all over our guide pages. I was at a relative's house in Cape May last week where they have Moto boxes. My verdict: the guide looks great, but the ads are terribly annoying.
