Yup.
I don't understand the need to actually "FREEZE" the episodes of Raymond when there is only 8 seconds left of airtime anyways! Keep the show running and display the advertisements during the credits.

Ain't I just glad to have a PVR....8 minutes commercial goes by pretty fast!

I have a short attention span, so when these cable gerbils go to the 6 minute commercial run with 4 minutes of show, I either go do something else or put them in the the PIP box and watch news or weather until they come back.
I don't use a Tivo, so haven't seen any of the jokus interruptus stuff yet, but when those annoying crawlers get to me I go do something else or watch other stuff. With dozens of channels on, there's always something. If not, I have other things to do.
Those with time might jot down any sponsors who use the popups and write them to say they won't use or recommend the product as long as they continue to irritate. Ultimately when fewer people watch TBS, soemthing will change.

It will also include Warner movies and Braves games broadcasted in HD. It will not have local news and only the minimal local programming required by the FCC. |

Maybe the reason that they chose to insert it at the end is because they know that there would be a huge revolt if it were done in the middle of the show. Having it at the end, when nothing significant was going to happen is not a big deal.
Now, if they did move to include it in the middle of the show, that is where I would take offense to it. |

Wow who likes baseball I mean seriously how can you spend 3-4 hours watching fat guys throw a ball around? Personally I consider TBS baseball days as days in which I don't watch any programs on TBS.
Oh... yeah, and TBS commercials are too long. |
