Just a FYI ...

Users reporting problems with Windows shutdown after installation of ZA ISS 7.0.362.
Windows doesn't shut down computer after install 7.0.362

Also several of the Gurus at ZA User Forums recommend staying with or upgrading up to ZA Free 6.5.737.

ZA Free 7.x Free is ZA ISS which is a large 38MB file, while the ZA Free 6.5 is 14MB and is fairly stable. Also it appears that the ZA ISS's non-functioning Kaspersky AV may be causing conflicts with some AV's installed on user's system.
I have horrors of my own with Version 7.0.337.000 and was hoping this new release would offer relief. I haven't downloaded this new release. Truth be told, I'm close to rolling back to the last version of 6.5.

For three weeks now, I've been fighting a Zone Alarm 7 that continually loses it's mind. Sometimes after a reboot, Zone Alarm will lose all all it's settings and I have to restore from a backup. The symptoms are identical on two computers running Version 7. The two computers that are using the last branch of 6.5 are rock solid and stable. I've posted at Zonelabs' Forums and the common retort is to check for malware or uninstall and reinstall. Malware is not the problem, and I've uninstalled and reinstalled Zone Alarm until I'm blue in the face.

After years of flawless performance by all the security programs on my computer, I was due to have an issue with one of them. It's too bad the one I trust the most is the one I have to downgrade to a stabler version.

EDIT TO ADD: I have notified support at Zone Labs and have heard nothing back.
