I do agree it is not likely the FCC will actually do anything that really benefits consumers. If this auction doesn't have protections to ensure the incumbents don't gobble everything up, broadband in the U.S. is going to be screwed for a long time. |

| So long as the consensus is to let the market play out everytime this is exactly where we end up. Those that have the most to gain, who not so coincidentally have large amounts of cash to throw at the problem (generated of course from the stranglehold on the same market), just perpetuate themselves.
