Yeah - after going through the signup process (no byod option)

unlimited $107.40
Shipping and Handling $14.95
One Time Setup Fee $30.00
Monthly 911 Fee ($0.95/mo per line) $11.40
USF tax $6.62
TOTAL
$170.37

not as impressive with all the fees and taxes

Not sure if they are a scam or not...but here are some more reviews.

Are you serious? Not impressive with the fees and taxes?

Isnt VT 199 plus fees and shipping?

Wasnt SR 199 plus fees and shipping?

Isnt Nuvio now 199 plus shipping, port fee and taxes?

Most providers monthly are 19.95 or 24.95 plus taxes/fees.

Actually, I thought I posted a followup comment but guess I probably just hit the preview button and forgot to hit post.. maybe i should go back to sleep - lol

I agree the fees are comparable and better than many VOIP providers.

But for byod users, as in my case, I dont see an option. Most VOIP providers waive activation and of course shipping with BYOD so that is $45 less. Perhaps if one calls there customer service the option is available.

So bottomline, if you are a regular customer and not byod their prices are very good. Plus I actually like their website - it does not seem scammy to me as mentioned earlier in the thread.
