FUD

This "article" seems to aspire to nothing other than spreading a little fud. The BT beta was out last week and really there's nothing nefarious about it. I don't know why you linked to the utorrent page with "has been released" when you go on to say it's called bit torrent 6.0. The proprer page to get the betta is »www.bittorrent.com/download All in all this is sort of a poorly written article containing no substance. Sorry.

How do you know? Why do you think so? It's closed source; one would have to monitor its network connections to verify that it's not doing anything contrary to documentation.

I'm not claiming it is "nefarious", just pointing out that claims one way or the other require evidence.
