With my 360 I connect wired and wireless my computer. I don't suggest using wireless for online gaming as you do have a little delay in data transmission. Once you're playing online there is enough lagg going on during game play sometimes that you don't want to contribute to it or experience it yourself. |

| reply to AocLokk You need to look in the router and see what it is assigning through DHCP, mine was 192.168.1.2-192.168.1.255. I changed the top of the range to 192.168.1.55 and gave my Xbox the IP of 192.168.1.66. The gateway I believe became 192.168.1.1 and the subnet didn't change. |

@verizon.net | reply to stonecoldohy What is outside the range? And when i assign it do i have to assign the subnet mask and gateway as well? |
