1 edit | reply to natek Thanks for the suggestions. That, RFC2833 always off and Use SIP Info for DTMF = YES, did not work for me. I am using Innomedia, GizmoProject for outgoing calls. Tried it with a bank and a credit card, they don't understand the tones. Any suggestions on what to try are appreciated. |

| reply to natek Thanks alot, this really works great.. The telnet is not the regular telnet, it just accepts commands without pressing enter, thats where the confusion is.. just launch the telnet from CMD prompt window and do whay natek says.
I have one more problem, hope someone has a solution for this too.. my innomedia gizmo stops ringing almost all the time after receiving couple of calls. For it to work again I have to go and reset all the time to work. Any ideas?
Thanks |

This settings let me use touch tone options when making a call and accept incoming calls from GrandCentral. |

I am not able to follow what you have said. I was able to telnet but dont see C2, Cs etc. I dont have any exp on this. Are these instructions for Innomedia MTA6328?
With those setting are you able to make calls to 800 numbers and use touch tone options??
Thanks, |

| reply to laserjobs When I set the setting to Always On or Negotiated, I was not able to call into conference all which required a code input. If I set it to Always off, I was able to input the conference code, but was not able to accept incoming calls. Now I am able to do both. |

| If you have DTMF issue with Innomedia Gizmo and accepting Grand Central incoming calls, then make sure you have following settings set:
1) telnet into your gizmo 2) Press C2 and make sure RFC2833 (SDP and 2833 packets) is ALWAYS OFF 3) Press Cs 4) Look for Use SIP INFO for DTMF = Yes 5) If it says no, then press c to change settings.
5.1) Look for 18. SIP INFO for DTMF 5.2) Press 18 to set it to yes 5.3) Press y at the following prompt Use SIP INFO for transmitting DTMF digits?[y/n] 5.4) Press w to write setting to Flash
You should be accept GC calls and negotiate menus anywhere else, i.e. VM. |
