This is a common problem for users of rebranded DSL lines, the line owner (AT&T in this case) can't cutoff an third party DSL user, and even if you call Sonic.net to disconnect that maynot show up in the AT&T status/order computer for weeks. You might have more luck via the phone, but I this problem shift from a third party back to verizon, according to them I would have to quit the third party then wait one or more weeks before verizon to reinstall. When they cut the DSL off they also killed my phone line for a 3 day holiday weekend, so I canceled the verizon DSL and bought a cable modem. |
