York Pa here. Of course most of you have never heard of York Pa (unless its either "aint that close to the place where that big battle was>? (meaning Gettysuburg which is about 25 minutes west of us) or "I've heard of the York Faire (which is the oldest fair in the country at this point), or my personal favorite "Don't they make Harley Davidson Motorcycles there?"

all 3 are correct but all miss one of the biggest things about York Pa. It was a great place in american history. The articles of confederation where started here, it was the seat of Govt. for this great nation BEFORE it was a great nation (only for a few days before they moved to Philly though) AND it was the place where it was discuessed to remove George Washington as the head of the Army (which failed and we ended up winning the war)

well the PA section of this board seems a little sparse......Glad to hear there are a few folks kicking around though

Pittsburgh, PA (Let's Go PITT!). There's actually a lot of users from PA on DSLR - although I think most of us are from Pittsburgh.

Hello everyone, I live in Audubon, Lower Providence Township in Montgomery County Pennsylvania. About 25 miles West of Philadelphia right next to Valley Forge National Park and the John J. Audubon Museum at Mill Grove.

I usually don't like to share this info, but since I was the one to suggest these "Sound off" threads .....

I live in Telford PA (Bucks county). Right on the county line of Bucks and Montgomery counties. I was born in Philly and have lived in Telford - Collegeville - Norristown - Lansdale areas almost all my life.
I have had broadband since '94 using Adelphia, Comcast and Verizon.

A few miles away from Roosevelt blvd ( US 1 ) and Red Lion.
I also attend George Washington High School - a mile or two from there.

Just found this forum. I live in McDonald PA in Washington county (about 20 miles SW of Pittsburgh). As far as I know, I may be the only DSL user here???

You see all those trees in Greensburg my mother planted all of those. Lol. After we moved away from Greensburg they all started dying. If you don't know who my mother is well then go up to Mt. Odin PArk and there is a Pavillion dedicated to her. BTW DP. How is GS doing?

Hi gang! Live in Dormont just outside the city in the South Hills. Avid Steelers fan, but don't know how many more of the games like Sunday's they can pull out of their a$$$es, err...hats;) Waiting for Thursday to roll around to see if ATT comes back live, until then I'm stuck in AOLHELL:(

Even though PITT is that Trade School down the street from where I graduated... I love 'em! (Just kidding bout that;))Have 3 sisters with various degrees from Pitt, so it's kind of in the blood, I guess.

Have been going to Steeler and Pitt games for as long as I can remember. Season tickets to Steelers and PITT, used to have Pens ticks, but it all got too damn expensive somewhere along the line...

I received a call from ATT today saying that tomorrow would be the day I get back on line, but they don't know when that'll be. So I just figured I'd actually get some work done around the house tonight, before going out to watch the Penguins, of course!
