| reply to ghostpainter Felt it here at USC. One of the USGS maps claimed a 4.7 followed by a 2.x, which seems to be what I felt.. Some moderate shaking for a couple seconds, slowed down, then more shaking. Whole thing was about 7-10 seconds.

| reply to ghostpainter Didn't feel a thing here in my house in Glendora. Only 10-15 miles from the epicenter? Of course my house is on a hillside made of Granite so it probably absorbed most of the jolt.

A preliminary magnitude 4.7 earthquake rattled Orange County today at 10:29 today, and was centered under the Santa Ana mountain range.
Automated seismographs reported that the earthquake's tentative epicenter was estimated to be eight miles west-northwest of the Riverside County city of Lake Elsinore.
