If I buy a disc I want high quality. For 2 bucks on a throwaway show, 720p at a fair bitrate is okay.

If I want to own something I certainly won't "rent" it by downloading it.

Uhm... my Blu-ray Discs are from 19GB to 45GB.
With current *average* broadband speeds... these file sizes are a rather formidable deterrent to any HD download service.
