Oh Puh-leeze. Just recently they have been busted again for providing Rootkits for the game Bioshock!

SecuROM - Sony... Ok.

Here is something you need to read either way friend:
»arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20···kit.html

"This weekend news spread quickly that the PC version of Bioshock comes loaded with a rootkit. The only problem is, it isn't loaded with a rootkit, it's just your standard "let's punish our customers" anti-piracy tool. However, since rootkit accusations are very serious, we thought we'd look into it."

It's SecuROM and BioShock isn't the only game with it!

EDIT: Sony - SecuROM.

Sony provided the technology to 2K games, as I have stated.

It's not a Rootkit! As I have stated - and pointed you to the Arstechnica article!
BTW, 2K BOUGHT the protection scheme FROM Sony. Sony didn't force *ANY* game mfgr to select SecuROM.

LOL!
