i have had more than enough problems with AOL its been trouble from the start bad connections no response its just rediculas sometimes if i click to connect to AOL dialer nothing happens and ther is a clear connection on the DSL but still no connection its not my pc i have had it checked out it is a top of the range alienware verry high spec. i have tried to get support of AOL many times no respons of them owe well they loose out owe and by the way the internet seams to work fine on orsnge broadband (better than AOL by fare)quite francly i think AOL is a pile of S**t if i was you i wuldnt bother with them i hope they go bust they are a usless bunch of wa**ers. technical support owe yea thers a joke about as much support as a crash helmut to a speeding buss well the point is they are a bad isp if i were you i wuld go with a more reliable one like orange broadband they are cheaper than aol and faster and no problems. just to prove that its not my computer i have had the same problems on my dell desktop pc and my frend had the same with his absalutley rediculous >>>>BAD BAD BAD |

Not to mention your spellchecker is broken. I had great connection speeds and very reliable when I was with AOL FYI Even I had great connection speeds with AOL. You need to make sure that you do not have all the worlds junk stored up on your computer that makes your computer slow. |

Problems with AOL ?? WOW that is a surprise .... 
I had AOL dialup for a little over a month back in the mid 90's, the "free" month was good, but when I went to paying it was useless and dumped it, there are a LOT of other options available to you for dial-up.
Proper punctuation and sentence structure makes reading a lot easier, and DSLR has a spell check built in.

Haven't used AOL since, oh, maybe 1997 or so, so I can't say if it's an AOL problem or a problem on the OP's end. However, a lot of people still seem to use it with no issues, so....

What are you talking about? AOL is a free service anyone can use from any internet connection. Surely your not paying AOL 50 bucks a month for some kind of crappy branded DSL connection which most likely would cost 20 bucks or less directly from your phone company? |
