SpeedTouch 5x6/585 Linux Live CD for Diagnostics?

Hi,

I'd like to know if anyone here ever heard of some
Linux Live CD capable of generating such a graphic
record of the SpeedTouch CRC/HEC Error rate over a
period of 24 hours (or more) as shown right below:

For those who notice the regularity in those peaks
(1 h spacing exactly), i caused them by turning on
most of the kitchen's appliances!  As a result, it
lead me to discover this unbelievable arrangement:

For further discussions about my experiment itself
please just follow the link which i provided here:

There is another aspect, although extremely rare. Still, it is one I personally experienced many, many years ago.

Was being driven nuts (as was IBM) by persistent and random failures in the control unit that supported our terminals. (Mainframe environment)

Long (six months) story short - the company had a massive and very old overhead crane the motors of which, when operated, happily arced to ground. Of course, we 'office drones' were unaware of the timing relationship.

That's right - the crane was 'bouncing' the ground plane itself for the entire complex!

Moral - ensure your ground really is absolutely grounded and that nothing is introducing 'spikes' into it.
