#3 Stats From Outside Demarc (bpasing Internal Wiring)
Well as some of you may remember I have a very old Demarc (Bicephale) :P

So a Bell tech came by today to fix my line since I still have static when it rains on my phone. He replaced some 30-40 year old lines to my home and install a new Demarc outside (but left my old one inside and id not touch it since my basement is finished)

Here are my new stats from,
1 - Before
2 - After New Phone Lines
3 - & Connected to outside demarc (by passing the home wiring)

What a big difference

It's a difference all right, but I wouldn't call it major.

Don't mean to rain on your parade.

My friend went from 6/44 to 23/9

That's 1728/800 to 5 meg!

hehe thats ok, its a good difference for me. I'm just surprised our internal wires would make such a big diff especially since I'm already getting 5mb

Hi BryanViper,

Each dB is difficult to acquire!  Ahummm...  Well, not in every
case since that "Heat Coil" felt just like a poke in the eye to
me - especially @ 5 Kbps!  Anyway, sincere congratulations!

hehe Thanks

Now the question is should I run a new line from the Demarc to my office that way I by pass everything? The only problem I see with this is that I would have to run the line inside instead of outside along the house because of the weather.

Thanks
