Cool with this

I think this is great.
I don't need a library of shows in most cases. I've never been one to watch a particular show or movie more than once, maybe twice if it was Really Good or Really Complex.

Letting me view the shows I want to when I want to is very cool. It's silly, however, if the shows are only going to be available for a week after broadcast. I often don't get around to watching a given show for a couple weeks, then finally have a few evening hours where I can marathon and catch up.

The way, for instance, that Heros and Lost have been available through the broadcaster's websites in the past has suited me just fine.

I do hope they don't try to cram in more commercials though.

I agree, seems like a good move imo. Even with advertisements. Did not read up on it to much, but if quality is up to par might give it a spin if i miss a episode.

I don't like, but can deal with, the DRM.

What I want is a good quality file download, so I can watch it on my Windows Media Center, on my TV. Not some proprietary browser plugin (ABC), and not some low res, low audio quality file that only looks good on a tiny video iPod sized screen.

I totally agree with you. I watch shows in the same way. I wish I got 30 days though. If commercials become to bothersome then back to torrents I go. I will give them a chance for their effort.
